What is Men Speak

Men Speak is a movement of men, who all at some time in their lives, have faced adversity, failure, disappointment, substance abuse, addictions, fatherless upbringing and resentment.

In this day and age when young men are killing themselves and each other, because of a lack of guidance, no one to turn to and no one who can understand what it means to grow up and become a man.

The men of Men Speak feel it’s time that more men stepped up to usher men and young boys into greatness with the love of God.

Our men need to see and hear successful men who may have once been in their shoes, say... yes, you can. You are someone, you can change your life and you can reach all that God has planned for you. You will never hear the men of Men Speak, tell you it’s an easy road, but they can teach you that it is an attainable
one.
***not all speakers will be at all events, please call if you are looking to hear a particular one****
***we also receive donations to help support the men as they go out to empower young men and give their testimony****
***if you would like to be a speaker, minister of music or master of ceremony or if you feel this is something you would like to have at your church or facility please call or email us****

Pastor C.J. Gray began his walk with the Lord at the age of 11. However he fell away from the Word as a young man and struggled through a period of drugs, crime and prison. Like the prodigal son, Pastor Gray returned to the Lord in 1989 and began a life of service dedicated to finding the lost. It was through his struggles while in a backslidden state that the Lord revealed to Pastor Gray the importance of developing workers focused on finding the lost.
Pastor Gray currently heads the SOS (Searchers of Souls) ministry at Solid Rock Church in Monroe, Ohio. Solid Rock Church is under the leadership of co-pastors Darlene Bishop and Lawrence Bishop Jr. The SOS Ministry officially began in 1995, after Pastor Gray honed his skills and developed his gifts by going out into the community by himself. From these humble beginnings the SOS Ministry now saves thousands of souls each year.
Pastor Gray travels the USA dedicating his life to teaching other churches how to win souls and set up outreaches.
Matthew 4:19 (KJV)
19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of  men.
Pastor Gray also leads a “food” ministry called Breaking Bread. He realizes the importance of feeding the poor and knowing firsthand what it is to go hungry as a child. He began giving food to the poor in 1997 and has continued to donate food to many outreaches.
Pastor Gray is reminded daily of Proverbs 11:30 “30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”

Greg Quinlan one of our future speakers - his favorite quotes are: "The philosophy in the classroom, for one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next." Abraham Lincoln
"This government is for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other." John Adams
"It is better to be divided by truth than to be united in error. It is better to speak the truth that hurts and then heals, than falsehood that comforts and then kills. It is better to be hated for telling the truth than to be loved for telling a lie. It is better to stand alone with the truth, than to be wrong with a multitude. There is only one Gospel." ~ Adrian Rogers (1931-2005)
